About L.E.T.S.
Learning and Educational Therapy Services, or L.E.T.S. for short, provides gold standard assessments, reports and individualised programs tailored and designed to assist people who have neurodevelopment disorders.
We provide support to self managed and plan managed participants with access to capacity building funding in their NDIS Plan. If you are unsure if you or someone you care for has access to this funding, please contact Melinda or have your Support Coordinator make contact.
L.E.T.S. is coordinated by Melinda Ferguson. Melinda's background includes over 20 years’ experience working as a Learning Difficulties Educator within the NSW Department of Education in Primary, Secondary and Special School settings. This includes executive roles in Special Education and Mainstream Schools, coordinating literacy programs across local management groups of schools and programming, and coordinating large Reading Tutor Programs.

Melinda specialises in working with children who have neurodevelopmental disorders, which can include Autistic Spectrum Disorder, ADD, ADHD, Fragile X Syndrome, Triple X Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Language Disorders, Non Verbal Language Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities, Down Syndrome, Mental Health, and Communication, Speech and Language Disorders. Education:
- Master of Autism Studies
- Graduate Certificate in Autism Studies
- Bachelor of Education in Special Education/ESL/EFL
- Certified Sounds-Write Practitioner
- Completion of SPELD NSW Teachers' Certificate Course
- Current WWCC
- Current National Police Check
